Mehdi Sethom

Mediterranean Corporate Finance

Mr. Mehdi Sethom is a founding partner of MCF, a group of advisory firms active in the Middle East and Africa regions, and member of GLOBALSCOPE business network.

Previously, he was Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Swicorp for 7 years and represented the firm in the international network Oaklins. Before joining Swicorp, he worked for over 10 years at BNP Paribas in Paris where he headed the Corporate Finance team in the Middle East and Africa as well as the business valuation team. He also focused on the power utilities sector and worked with the Mining and Metals equity research team in London.

Mr. Sethom has over 27 years of extensive experience in corporate finance and in investment banking across Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has advised a large number of regional and international clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs and fundraising.

He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and the Ecole des Mines de Paris and speaks Arabic, English and French.
