In Flat6Labs, TAEF found the partner it sought: an effective and innovative start-up accelerator and funding model to support start-up digital entrepreneurs.
In 2017, TAEF became an anchor investor in Flat6Labs Tunis and Anava Seed Fund along with a local bank, a local family office, Flat6Labs Cairo, and now, the IFC.
“ TAEF success depends upon the success of our investees and entrepreneurs and of our partners. Our goal is investment for return, impact and sustainability – which means strong financing institutions. Our Flat6Labs / Anava investment, is an important part of TAEF’s investment strategy focused on one segment of the SME ecosystem: digital entrepreneurs.”

TAEF is a co-founder and anchor investor in Tunisia’s first integrated acceleration and investment platform for startups: Flat6Labs Tunis and its affiliated seed and pre-Series A fund, Anava Seed Fund. Today, this program is recognized as one of the most inspiring and impactful initiatives for startups in Tunisia.
Flat6Labs Tunis and Anava Seed Fund play a crucial role in Tunisia’s dynamic startup ecosystem, investing in the “Company of the Future.” A strong startup ecosystem is essential for the development of Tunisia’s private sector. The Tunisian government has acknowledged the importance of this sector by adopting a new regulatory framework, the Startup Act, aimed at streamlining processes for startups.
Each investment cycle attracts hundreds of applicants aspiring to be part of the startups selected to join this program, which provides them with an innovative acceleration program, seed or pre-Series A funding, and access to a vast network of experts, renowned local and international mentors, investors, and companies, along with a dedicated workspace.
More than 70 entrepreneurs have received seed funding, acceleration support, and mentorship. Each of them has embarked on raising external funds from investors to grow their businesses.
