Ms. Alina Romanowski and Mrs. Hela Fourati met at the “ Investing in Tunisia, Start-up Democracy”

Deputy Assistant Administrator for the USAID Middle East Bureau and Mrs. Hela Fourati, Managing Director and COO of the Tunisian American Enterprise Fund met at the “ Investing in Tunisia, Start-up Democracy” international conference.

The event was held on Monday 8th of September in Tunis, Tunisia.
Mrs. Fourati said that ‘This conference was an opportunity to update Ms. Romanowski about the status of TAEF and the ongoing activities of the fund, the main priorities and next steps.’

The international conference "Investing in Tunisia, Start-up Democracy”, was attended by representatives of 30 states, more than fifty financial and economic institutions, corporations, investment funds, international banks (IMF, WB, EIB, etc.) and international organizations and personalities. This event was co-organized by France, the conference was chaired by the Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa and the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls.
